Hi, I am Haleigh and welcome to my little corner of the blog world. I have a passion for traveling and exploring other cultures. I adore fashion and I adore food so I try to moderate both. In other words, I eat my greens to look fabulous in my skinny jeans.
I want to use this blog as my creative center to talk freely and write about what I please, whether it be fashion, food, wine or traveling.
Now, a little bit too much about me that you probably never wanted to know… I met my Swedish husband at the University of Oklahoma in 2006. After we got engaged, I moved to Sweden in 2007 so that we could be together while he finished graduate school.
While living abroad, I learned more about myself than I ever thought was possible. I would recommend living in another country to any one.. it really brings a sense of peace and pleasure with the world and with yourself.
My life has been a whirlwind in the past 3 years. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would have experienced all the things that I have.
I learned to enjoy a good glass of wine on any special occasion, or any occasion for that matter. I learned how to cook, bake and enjoy good quality food.
I got to travel the world.
To Paris.
and Germany.
Now, I reside in Charlotte. When we first moved to Charlotte, we came for my husband’s job but now I am completely in love with this cute little Southernesque city.
At the moment, I have a full time job as an administrative assistant but I will begin studying English, Journalism and Secondary Education at UNC Charlotte in the fall of 2010.
Well, that’s my life and now I want to write about it
